The Murwillumbah Arts Trail 2019 is an exhibition of contemporary art that showcases over sixty visual artists from the Tweed Valley and surrounds. Over a four period from May 16-19 2019 the town itself becomes the gallery.
Art everywhere, music, indigenous artists, circus, performance, dance and off-the-wall fun underpins MAT19. Art and performance in surprising places. Food and music, wine and mirth combine to ensure there’s something terrific for everyone.
MAT19 is run by a talented group of people who put in the work to bring you this annual event.
The curatorial panel for MAT19 is:
Kylie Mitchell-Smith – Tweed Tourism
Nick Clow – Musician and committee member
Christine Mellor – Artist and committee member
Pat Miller – Committee member
Advisers to the panel are:

We gratefully acknowledge Tweed Shire Council funding with initial support from M-Arts and Tweed Tourism.
It’s auspiced and supported by Creative Caldera, a not-for-profit incorporated organisation supporting local art and artists. Andy Reimanis will be the artists support and technical adviser.
