Koalas – John hopes the audience are aware of how endangered the Koala is. His work was inspired by horrific scenes during the bush fires a couple of years ago. It is estimated that as many as 60,000 koalas were either killed or injured. This comes on top of them already being endangered mostly due to climate change, habitat clearing, chlamydia, dog and cars. It is estimated that as many as 4,000 are killed each year by dogs and cars alone. Help save the Koala!
