Michelle Walker is a visual artist whose 2D and 3D art pieces explore the landscapes we inhabit and the connections they hold in our hearts. Drawing on a creative practice spanning 20 years and an environmental consultancy spanning 25+ years, her cross-disciplinary work addresses themes of art/nature/science and humanity’s relationship to the natural world. Michelle teaches jewellery making from her studio, Berrimbillah Studios in Ocean Shores and since 2022, she has been the silver jewellery and enamelling tutor for Byron Community College. A local to the Murwillumbah area, Michelle’s enamel and silver jewellery will be on display at the Arts Trail.
