Roslyn Oakes creates beautiful realistic works from her surroundings in the Northern Rivers and draws inspiration from the ethereal beauty that this landscape has to offer.
Roslyn is influenced by such greats as Raymond Harris Ching, Arthur Sreeton and John McCartin.
She is constantly seeking out new information in the form of workshops, books and you tube tutorials and has an insatiable thirst for knowledge, which she enjoys passing onto members of her art/therapy class at a local aged care facility.
Roslyn has received recognition in many forms, including peoples choice, artist of choice by Southern Cross Credit Union and as a recipient of her own episode of Colour In Your Life as prizes in the 2018 Murwillumbah Art Trail.
Roslyn works in oil, acrylic and pastel mediums, which provides a varied choice for discerning clients.
