Amanda Lee Burns is a Murwillumbah born artist. A mother of three, she turned her hand to art in 2018 after a back injury in 2016 left her unable to work and feeling useless. Growing up in the Tweed Valley, Amanda helped her mother care for orphaned and injured birds and from a young age developed a love for birdlike which is reflected in a lot of her artwork.
