Poets Out Loud presents the SUPER SLAM!! Come see the region’s sharpest wordsmiths battle it out on stage. Poems, rants, raps, ballads – you never know what you’ll get or who will walk away a winner. Each poet is given just 2 minutes and a microphone to wow the audience. The winning poem will be chosen by random audience judges, meaning YOU can play a part in selecting the Super Slam Champion! With a sensational prize package up for grabs, this is poetry as you’ve never seen it before.
As well as our keen competitors, you’ll witness the wordy mischief of our feature poet, Loki Liddle. His unique blend of energy, satire and love makes it hard to discern which side, if any, he is on.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No. People aged under 18 are welcome to attend with a responsible adult, and enter the slam if they wish. Parents should note this performance may contain content and language unsuitable for children.

What’s the refund policy?
You can refund your ticket up to 7 days before the event. If you are refunding a ‘Slam Poet entry’ ticket, please also contact the organiser.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Having your ticket ready on paper or on your phone may help us to get you in faster.
