Lynne Guy

Lynne Guy is a multifaceted artist living and working in Clothiers Creek. She is known for her diverse talents in interior design, ceramics and figurative drawings. A decades long career in interior design starting with a Diploma of Arts-Interior Design (from Sydney College of the Arts) and an almost total immersion in all things architectural has helped inform her work over the years. In her figurative drawing Lynne uses a combination of soft pastel, charcoal and a variety of mixed media on paper. Her work is characterised by a paired down simplicity and controlled palette of colours, lending her pieces a timeless quality that resonates with viewers. Alongside her drawings, Lynne also showcases her talents in ceramics, specialising in mid-fire, mainly functional pottery. Her pieces are not only aesthetically pleasing but also serve practical purposes, reflecting her commitment to both form and function in her art.
