Ray Chapman moved to the area of the Tweed Shire 50 years ago I have spent all my life as a painter i have since retired and about 6 years ago I found a hobby welding aluminium sculptures it all started making a small bird on a stand and then I was hooked I love creating , I am not bound by any shapes or anything in nature I just see something that inspires myself and others like cartoons characters , plants , ancient weapons , animals , and things from the past. welding is now my passion .
